Hello, hello!

Man, I probably should use this thing once in a while, no? That's what I get for having a multitude of blogs and journals; I always forget to update all of them. Oh, well. It's happening now at least. I don't think I've ever had a proper introduction here, either. Well, must make amends, then.

Hi there! My name is Kate, and I'm your typical twenty-something with a lot of emotional and stressful baggage. There isn't really that much that needs to be said about me, aside from the dreams of grandeur I sometimes hold out for in the fields of becoming a novelist/graphics designer/graphic novelist. That and I'm an anime otaku. Hardcore, baby. And I do bite(but only gently, I promise).

This week isn't going as well as I had hoped for. Thanks to the female parental unit and the hellspawn that is her offspring, I've contracted pneumonia. For joy. Thankfully I don't have to work again until Friday afternoon, so I plan on sleeping as much as I can today and hopefully will feel better tomorrow for the party here. If not... Well, the family will just have to deal with a sickly, possibly 'Kate Smash'ing crankybutt.

I suppose that's all to report for the time being. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to curl up in a ball and will away this hollow feeling in my lungs. G'night.
